Description
The fantastic DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor comes enclosed in a plastic permeable casing that allows it to measure the surrounding air while being resilient to damage by changes in the environment. The casing protects the electronics inside while allowing air to pass through for measuring temperature and humidity.
Because the measured data is transmitted digitally, there is no signal degradation over long distances. The data transmission uses a 1-Wire proprietary protocol, for which Open-Source libraries are available for platforms such as Arduino boards, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers and single-board computers.
Features:
- Usable temperature range: –40~80°C and 0~100% RH
- Resolution: 8-bit
- Communication: 1-Wire protocol
- Accuracy: ±0.5°C in the range –10~80°C and 5% in the entire RH range
- Operating Voltage: 3.3~6V (power/data)
