ESP32-S2-WROOM Module for Serial to Wi-Fi

The ESP32-S2 is the latest addition to the family of IoT solutions developed by Espressif Systems. This ESP32-S2-WROOM module with castellated pins, carries all the components needed to easily incorporate the ESP32-S2 into your projects.

The ESP32-S2 offers great improvements over its predecessor. Its co-processor based on the RISC-V architecture allows for ultra low-power consumption, and more processing power. The ESP32-S2 is also capable of dynamically turning off the Wi-Fi transceiver when not in use to save power. The lack of a dual-core processor is balanced by a faster single-core LX7, and a much more powerful co-processor. Despite having smaller SRAM and ROM, it supports bigger external memories. Features that are missing in this iteration are support for Bluetooth and CAN, as well as an Ethernet MAC address.
