At Acrobotic, we tend to favor the use of male pin headers for selectable options in our boards. The 2-pin jumpers in this product listing are used to create a connection between 2 adjacent pins. For example, to switch the voltage between 3.3V and 5V on our FTDI Breakout Board, we use a 4-Pin header. By simply moving the 2-pin jumper from one position on the header to another, we can switch the voltage quite easily—no soldering needed.
