The WeMos D1 Mini family of boards is one of the latest additions to the ESP8266-based IoT ecosystem. The WeMos D1 Mini BMP180 Temperature/Barometric Pressure Sensor Shield includes the popular sensor for measuring temperature and pressure locally.
The WeMos D1 Mini BMP180 shield is designed so that pin D1 (SCL) and D2 (SDA) on the WeMos D1 Mini V2 board are connected to the corresponding I2C pins of the sensor. This means that you might need to configure your software to use these pins for I2C communication. There are plenty of existing libraries to work with this sensor especially uf you’re using the Arduino Software. This inexpensive sensor is a great way to get temperature and barometric pressure data using any microcontroller or SoC. Using a simple scaling factor, the pressure measurements can indicate the altitude above sea level!

Each board in this kit includes a pair of Male, Female, Long Female pin headers for you to choose. Soldering is required for installing the header pins!
